If I enjoyed Dawn of War 2, would I enjoy this game?
I understand DoW2 focused a lot on team tactics, but I enjoyed the hero units and abilities.

sadly those 2 games only share the universe they are set in

2 different kind of genres

but if you like the lore thing you will be fine
So then it's not top down range based combat with a cover system?

single player dow 2 is kind of like this game but:
in dow2 you control more characters
in dow 2 there are more varied environments
this game has more micro managing

Think of a mashup between DoW2 and Diablo 3, with some Van Helsing thrown in. I personally think it is a great combination and that the game will be very well received and reviewed upon release. It's very playable now, so I would encourage you to get it OP.

Yes but its a ARPG, not a RTS or tarctical RTS. You play your one figure and you do this in the style of a ARPG, but with cover and such things.

I looked through your Library and i would say, it's an mix between Grim Dawn and Warhammer 40k Universe.... plus some unique Features like Cover System. So if you liked Grim Dawn and like the Warhammer Universe, i imagine you will also like this Game...

What´s this?
Dawn of War = StarCraft
Inquisitir = Diablo/Titan Quest

If while playing Dawn of War III you ever said to yourself, Damn I wish I could just control one unit and engage in smaller tactical firefights and do away with all this base building, hand holding RTS rubbish then yep you`d probably enjoy Martyr even in it`s current unfinished state.

out of all the DoW games tho...DoW 2 WOULD share some similarities with Inquisitor. DoW 2 had small tactical hero teams, with skills and stat progression, as well as wargear progression.
Really the main difference btw the two would be that you mainly play with just a single hero instead of a few groups of heroes...tactical party rpg vs. single hero ARPG....but reward systems and combat would probably scratch a similar itch imo.

Yes...this ^^ also...there will still kinda be that tactical hero party feel...just other players will be controlling each unit in the group instead of you tactically controlling them all =D
