Tarot cards with blabla, you can get... drums
3 Fate points!
MrBrain Jun 23, 2019 @ 12:15pm
So why just don't remove DLCs at all? Noone earn enough fate for them.
M4ni4ku Jun 23, 2019 @ 12:19pm
Im currently playing void map crusade im lvl 53 and i can earn with tarot cards 10 fate points per mission i think on higher lvl maps you can earn more so for now its enough.

120 missions yes at my lvl which is 53 at lvl 90-100 who knows how much fate can one gain from one mission???

120 missions without spending a single point in research. Fate is broken.
Brother PaciFist Jun 23, 2019 @ 12:44pm
No it is not broken. It is free to play economy. You should spent money on those dlcs. Why dont you spent 2,99 on glowing foot prints. Totally worth it.
LazyMKII Jun 23, 2019 @ 1:24pm
Fate is not broken.

If u do ur level missions then u get more than 1 Fate ^^

Currently running +10lvl missions and is 12-15 fate per run (depends on missions type/tarot cards)

But yes, It is much less than before.

My advanced observational skills detect sarcasm here.

Various mechanics. If you level a character, you get a coupel hudnred fate points total for all the story missions.
Then you get weekly glory rewards, which gives you 50 fate for 100 glory as first step, (so if you play on normal difficulty at your exact level, the first 10 missions of the week will basically get +5 fate per mission). If you get to 400 glory, or 40 normal difficutly mission you will get 150 fate instead of 50, or +3.75 fate per mission for the first 40.
And then there shoudl still be weekly doable random priority assignments, which hsould still give you a dozen or so fate after 3-6 mission done in them. (Haven't checked them otu since 2.0 hit tho, so not 100% sure)

So assumign oyu play 10 or 40 missions a week on normal difficulty, for 1 1200 fate DLC you will need:
10 missions - 200 Missions at 10 a week over 20 weeks, at 6 fate each (1 base +5 from glory rewards)

40 missions - 253 Missions at 40 a week for 6 and a half weeks.

Plus, as said bonsu fate from Tarrot, class Missions, priority assignemnets etc.

.....and system influence reward. Tbh apart from the cosmetic DLC, theres not a huge amount of content DLC

Ok, you can grind 1 DLC for a month or so, but it's still only 1 DLC and you still need fate for many other things... All you know that it wasn't a problem before 2.0, so this update made free DLCs paid, it's not good considering that the game is still not perfect and we sooo long waited for this update.
Anticitizen 1 Jun 23, 2019 @ 11:56pm
It's not that bad. You can get 150 fate for 400 weekly glory. To get that it's just 10 easy missions - go to a low level system and do assassinations or hunts with 3 tarrot cards. Between 2 and 4 minutes per run and 40 glory per mission. You'll get your 150 fate in less than two hours of play with breaks and loading screens. You'll also get a little fate per mission - 3 or 4 points so for your ten missions you'll end up with about 180 fate.

It is a bit of a grind so you got to ask yourself, is the current gameplay fun? For me it is and so the grind isn't a negative. For the past three days when I started playing again I already fully researched the crafting/modify tree and bought one bit of DLC with fate and still have a few hundred fate left over. One thing they should change is that some consumables have a fate cost, thats a bit of a silly decision and ensures that I will never buy them.
