Report a translation problem
I do have to say though that after not seeing a hood for my preferred armor and constantly seeing the pope hat ever since the 2nd mission of Prophecy that I'm not too happy. I at the very least thought I'd see variation rather than color changes but after beating the entire campaign, I'm still stuck with the same look I've had with that hat ever since the 2nd mission. What makes matters worse is I'm pretty sure the subclass armor you start out with from the character creation screen is only for the starting gear.
I'm not saying the pope hats HAVE to go. I'm saying I'm sick of seeing them after EVERY armor piece I get. Please for the love of god add an actual cosmetic changing system. I'll even pay for it if it means I can at least choose which look I have for 50 missions straight.
Because we get soon a new Inquisitor I summon this thread again, so we mayhaps (at least as an option) get new/other hats/robes - please!
There is actually a hidden sect of "heretic" Tech Priests that are full-on Imperial Cult and view the Omnissiah as heresy, at least what I've seen in the Dark Heresy expansions, if you could call that "canon".
The hats are called Mitre Vestments, btw.
Granted, this old thread is mayhaps a bit misleading in this regard, as I think the Mitre Vestments can stay and we just need more options.
Would this game be akin to e.g. Vermintide, I would not question the Ecclesiarchy/Mechanicus blend, but being an ARPG, where we can make the hero our own (at least to some degree), there should be different robes IMHO.
Also, even if they do not make a GW Tech-Priest (what they already have), they still can give more options beside the "pope hats".
There is so much ad mech art where they don't have pope hats. There were even a few non lego variants in game without the pope hats. Keep the pope hat versions, but give us non pope hat transmog options which definitely exist in the 40k art + lore.
We rather put our current resources into other things, like the Sororitas class.
Strange that GW does not want to max the potential of the Tech-Priests/Adepts in this game, in "Mechanicus" it worked quite well. Much more so, that they give you people no room for other/additional options.
Sad, so we need to stay with the "no helmet/hat" option. Hopefully we will get new custom hats/helments with the Sororitas DLC, which also can be used with the Tech-Adept.
