Ancient Relics
What purpose do these serve? All the ones I picked only have 4 attributes and a lot of those attributes require hours of grinding to unlock. They also cost a Machine God's Spark to re-roll attributes! I just unlocked one attribute out of curiosity on my AR Digital Weapons and it's 16 HP regen per second. That's a joke attribute, I can regen 1000 HP per second when mowing down horde enemies with my Gravgun. All these Relics are good for is 3 Fate you get from selling them.

You either get good stats on them or you don't. Just like the other relics I guess.

Difference being that you have to equip an empty item while unlocking the stats on it and weaken yourself.

Can you reroll the yellow/orange stat on yours? I can't. Says it's "locked" while I have the whole crafting tree unlocked.

Locked for me as well and not just on Ancient but also on Archeotech relics. I also have the whole tree researched.

They are supposed to have higher stats on enchants and all enchants are supposed to support unique orange enchant.

I'm currently testing a pair of signums to see if that's true(weapon and signums in alternate weapon set do not count for your stats, but unlock conditions for relic are still counted)

Post a screenshot if you roll a good set of stats. I sold all mine but I might keep them in future if this turns out to be true.

I unlocked 3 so far, and they do pack a combined punch each. They stats really all fit together fairly well, though the ones I got so far were unsuited for my build and sold.

I do like the concept of ancient weapons. The standard ARPG loot system always seemed a bit weird in a WH40K ... it makes the ancient artificers look quite crazy.. "... Why in the name of the Omnisiah did they grant bonus warp damage to a Multi-Melta??"

I can handle the idea of finding well tuned Ancient Weapons that I can't use... I just don't know if I'm interested enough to unlock some of those crazy grindy stats.

3 of 4 enchants unlocked on one so far, they all boost crits performance so far, if last one actually adds crit chance, that's my new signum right there.
