Tutorial - Cannot Move Character at all! SOLVED.
When I load the game it goes staright into the tutorial - I don't get a choice.
Trouble is it is bugged.

I CANNOT move my character at all when I have to "explore the area". Not with mouse, arrow keys or WASD. He just will not budge.

Even ESCAPE will not work and I have to use TM to get out of the game.

EDIT: Delete your character and make a new one. Mouse+K should all work fine and even ESCAPE now works.

same here.

deactivate the "enable Controller" button under "Controls" helps so far for me but only on Assassin.

I'll give it a go, though that shouldn't be checked.

I've hit the same wall since the update. Tried everything but crusader and come to think of it I'll try that now. But I can't help if I can't test the game so... yeah.:raven:

Okay follow up, I can confirm that for some reason the crusader tutorial isn't bugged like the other two. God Emperor alone knows why. Hopefully I can find a way to skip it on the other two once I've completed it, or I'll still be waiting on it to be fixed.:raven:

Same. Can look around on the spot with my headtorch on tho, so that's nice.

Had the same problem. Deleted the affected character and created a new one, that worked for me.

Yes. I can do that quite happily - but cannot move. Can't get rid of the chatbox either.

That's my next step.

And it worked. It came to my in my sleep last night (don't ask about my dreams - I was an X-Wing trainee pilot thinking about this game - go figure). But only remembered when you posted this.

This has been happening to me on-and-off as well - none of the above methods seem to work for the Assault Crusader, he'll just sit there and spin. Everything else has worked on the other classes, though - 80% of the time, a simple restart of the game is enough; the other 20% will work with a re-created character. I have no idea why the Assault Crusader has decided to be problematic.

I'm going to try a few different mystic rituals and see if there's an order-of-operations that'll make it reliably work/not-work.

EDIT: Mystic voodoo ritual did indeed work - when just deleting+remaking the character wasn't enough, I did the following: Delete char->quit game->restart game->re-make char. So yeah, just do some combination of those steps and it'll work eventually, probably.
