Report a translation problem
deactivate the "enable Controller" button under "Controls" helps so far for me but only on Assassin.
And it worked. It came to my in my sleep last night (don't ask about my dreams - I was an X-Wing trainee pilot thinking about this game - go figure). But only remembered when you posted this.
I'm going to try a few different mystic rituals and see if there's an order-of-operations that'll make it reliably work/not-work.
EDIT: Mystic voodoo ritual did indeed work - when just deleting+remaking the character wasn't enough, I did the following: Delete char->quit game->restart game->re-make char. So yeah, just do some combination of those steps and it'll work eventually, probably.
