Storm Shield Vs Suppression Shield
I think I must be missing something here about these 2 shields, is there anyone who can tell me what I am missing please?

The Storm Shield becomes available at a higher level, but seems to have the same stats with the exception of one skill. The only difference between that skill is that a storm shield has a shorter radius (3m vs 5m).

Cheers. :)

Thank you, I will look again at it.

I re-read the Shield Charge skill and it describes itself an area of affect, hence my initial confusion and the question.

However, that description is inaccurate as after crafting and then using one I discovered the following.

Shield Charge does not seem to have an area of affect of 3m radius as described and is in fact a single target charge of only 3m (many of the other 'charges' do in fact have longer reaches).
It's application of the knockback and knockdown would initially seem to be more effective then the suppression shield's similar skill (but that may not be the case as I only tired it out on a single mission).

Perhaps the skill description could be looked at so that it accurately described what it did?

EDIT: After further testing it seems that the knockback and knockdown aspects are no more effective then the Suppression Shield's Discharge.
