Question about the new dlc costumes

For those who bought the new dlc costumes, do they increase character stats or are they just cosmetic?

one increases rare item drop/loot slightly and the other decreases the syntheses -3hours and clock while moving is a bit slower.
edit: all costumes besides the starting ones have bonus traits

He asked for the new ones, not the old ones we got for free. Given that there are even some for other characters than Firis, it's pretty legitimate.

The new costume for Firis increases ingredient quality and increases chances for superior traits.

The question is which costumes is which Traits?
Edit: Okay, I guess I will be the dummy then. Hold on!

Edit2: Sky Blue Papilon is the one with better Traits gain. Get that (swimsuit for Firis).
I have no idea how to change the rest of the characters costumes...
And I'm not sure if I have got the DLC characters...it doesn't say anything.

Edit3: Change costumes for everyone else, go to the Atelier Desk > Change Costume > Press Dpad left or right. No special effects or Traits for these people. USELESS.

Edit4: Oh yeah this is just the 1st set, there is another set with a Female Knight character. No idea what the DLC costume Traits are.

The one for Firis gives a bonus, nobody else gets one for changing their outfit though.

Thanks kind soul! That's all I wanted to hear. Let's hope that the new swimming costume for Firis will stack with the other ones since I am on new game plus and will give me even better quality and traits!

The next set is another new character and a bunch of fantasy RPG themed costumes (warrior, cleric, archer etc.), all for girls. And that'll be it for Firis DLC, unless they do another sequel episode in 6 months.
