Settings menu is all in Japanese
How do I change to english? The config menu doesn't seem to change anything.

you have to choose the - mark. No joke, thats the english

To complement that answer if it didn't make sense, in the launcher you need to pick "-" for the language instead of "english" because they messed up the order when they introduced that language drop-down and didn't come back to fix it.
