If your refuel bottles is not powerful enough, Try some Puni Jelly that are 'Alive'. Works better than Refuel Bottles but of course only some people can equip it.
But for Sophia its better to use Mystery Elixer for herself. At max properties, it can auto heal and revive (this part is a Trait from the flower that must be used) herself.
Angel's Ribbon (1st bar) for Nullify Curse at max.
No idea where Nullify Seal & Immobile are...
I was using Flame of the End to break her.

Because of this, we need to finish the boss before it can move.
It will be a long article if I wrote all the things, so I just list some key points(without DLC).
Reach quality 999 as possible as you can
4th weapon with Spirit Slayer, enhance with Rubilium.
Bridal Blouse or Full Metal Shirt, enhance with Flugel
Time Control Hourglass with its 4th effect 'Control the Future'
White-Hot Headband with effects 'Inner Fire' and 'Inject Warlike Spirit'
Trait 'Power of Faith' on two accessories
Trait 'Well Rounded Power' on all your equipment
Unequip all your auto-use recovery item, and take Breezy Aroma instead if you need
Just use normal attack with Offensive Stance in battle, every member
To defeat Evil King, you can use 'Demon Slayer' and 'Wards Evil' on weapon
These are powerful settings in HARD difficulty. With DLC, it will be another world of DESPAIR difficulty
You can check my guide in steam to get more practical tricks, including how to enhance your equipment without loss.

I plan to write a guide about how to make 999 quality things recently when my daily work is not that busy.
Nice!
I just defeated this boss easily on Normal with Heaven's Cleanser (gets rid of enhancements) and Flame of the End (Level Down, lots of damage)
Just wait till you get to the part where they even stop activating, that's much worse. :P
30 minute fights with the Demon King and Leon only used her 4 refuel potions a grand total of...once.
Light elemental is a very anti-fun boss to fight because she has her powerful abilities and on top of that spams status effects each turn, and has an absurd amount of evasion so most attacks will miss. Not worth fighting above easy tbh.
ps: tried Light Elemental on Despair without DLC. After a while I just decided to turn it down to normal, since it's not worth the headache.
Altho my stats resistance items are very weak, and I dont use items on Sophie so there's that.
You will have to defeat her while also healing each turn. If you have any aoe heal items that place a heal card (heals again following turn) that will help you a lot.
If your having trouble dealing enough damage (miss, miss, miss) note that assist attacks and normal attacks can't miss.
