You purchased when still in development. 1.0 just means that development is being wound up, and no significant new features will be added after that, although I'm sure we'll see fixes and tweaks for a while after release.
There's never been talk of any DLC, but who knows (apart from Coffee Stain!) - But far down the line, perhaps we could see some additional content - maybe a new map one day?!? That'd be optional content you'd have to pay for if it ever did happen.
I’m pretty sure controller support (and achievements) is still promised/planned for 1.0, despite their failure to mention it in this particular post.
However, Satisfactory is unlikely to ever perform well on Steam Deck LCD or OLED, especially later on when your factory operations become exceedingly complex. Despite this, it is still technically playable on Steam Deck currently even without proper controller support thanks to Steam Input.
Hopefully Deck 2 will support/perform Satisfactory even better.
I hate when developers do this... I thought the whole point of a sandbox game was to let players play it however they wanted. Now they keep trying to encourage behavior...
