Hotkeys stop working
Ive encountered this bug quite a few times now and i cant work out what exactly causes it but my numbered hotkeys just stop working. The only fix i have found is to restart the game. It is really annoying when in a server with friends.

just going to menu works no need for a full restart but im hoping for a fix to this or at least find out what buttons my cat keeps hitting when she joins my game session

Yeah I've had thsi happen a few times... Its not just hotkeys in my experience, but a lot of other things too. So for instance - you won't be able to crouch. Also if you go to the map and try to place a marker, it will take your normal input when you are trying to place it (so typing "S" will make your character move and so on). Its not always all of these effects, but sometimes. Its quite annoying... but not the biggest issue - just a dumb set of bugs.

I have the issue that if I change the clockspeed of a machine I can´t use "E" to close the machine´s GUI.

When I Alt-Tab to another app and have the Satisfactory game in the background and just click on the window vs Alt-Tab back the hotkeys don't work correctly. So if you click on the game window to switch back you still need to hit Alt-Tab to make it fully active it seems.

This is not what is happening. I just had it happen and movement keys worked fine - just hot bar keys not responding. This game has memory leaks out the wazoo - that's why they have auto save set at 5 minutes default setting cause they have no faith in the game not crashing and seem to have just resigned themselves to it

Encountered this issue today and got out of it by pressing TAB once or twice. The hotkeys then responded again towards the hotbar.

This often happens to me after using CTRL-C and CTRL-V to copy/paste blueprints in machines. Despite all these tips, the only thing that worked for me was a restart.

I've been having this issue after copying and pasting machine settings as well. And pressing Tab did fix it this time.

Yeah seen this too - occasionally my keys stop - but some how they start working again - likely due to alt-tab or reloading save file.

It's rare tho.

This fixes it
