It looks like they changed what the EXE is called, so the Nvidia team probably has to update their software suite for it. The last update was on 9/11, Satisfactory went live on that date, so it's highly unlikely they shipped the changes with that update.
For update 8, it recommended almost every setting on medium. I'm playing with everything on ultra, global ill on high and I'm getting 80-100+ FPS. So why suggest medium for everything on my system.
Geforce Experience does this to me on every game I have installed expect Subnautica which has never been detected for me....
To really get the best performance for YOUR system, just go into the game and turn everything to ultra, runs bad? Slowly lower each setting at a time till things work for you.
Example: Changing shadows from ultra to high or medium will have a huge performance boost without most not even noticing the difference without looking for it and every other setting could still be on ultra and run just fine.
Clouds, foliage, vfx, and lighting can have a performance impact in a big way depending on the system and most of the time, going down one level doesn't show anything major for people to notice.
I manually changed some settings in the game and it runs fine.
