Walls don't seem to keep weird creature out

So I built a wall to keep the weird creature out while I start a new factory and the wall does not seem to exist to the weird creature because he walks through it but then oddly gets trapped within the area I'm working on. I zap him with the xeno and off he goes back through the wall to the outside.

is your base floating/lacking foundations, as i have found this and solved it by putting foundations with out gaps all way round some buildings or build higher...

Seems to be something they added on purpose with Update 8. In Update 7, I never had it walking into my factory, then a few hours after I've updated, he was inside mine as well.

Seems they've made it so he just clips through walls, like the flying manta ray thingie.
