Floor is Lava

The Achievement "The Floor is Lava" hasn't gained any progress since I started on the 1.0 I've gained a bunch of other achievements so i know they're enabled but that one isn't progressing. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

You need to stay off the ground for 30 minutes consecutively. it will only progress when you are off the ground and will reset to 0 progress if you touch the ground again,
Just build a latter climb it. go watch a tv show and come back in 30 minutes.

This has not been my experience. While the approach of just spending 30 minutes on a ladder will certainly net the achievement, it does not need to be 30 sustained minutes. It's cumulative, so 1 minute in the air > touch ground > repeat 30 times will also unlock it. I reached 21 minutes just from slide-jumping everywhere with blade runners. Spent 9 minutes today on ladders at different times - while touching the ground in between - and the achievement popped.

It very easy - use the hoverpack and you can continue building if you stay near a powerline.

floating in water is also another method to get this, just float in water go afk for 30mins and it should pop

I climbed the side of my stacked storage containers and I had to afk to go make dinner. When I got back the achievement popped for me.
