[Resolved] "XAudio 2.78 is not installed" dialog when starting the game

When I start the Satisfactory 1.0 release, a "XAudio2.7 is not installed. Make sure you have XAudio 2.7 installed. XAudio 2.7 is available in the DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010)." message box appears. Clicking "OK", shows again and after clicking OK there, I can successfully start and play the game.

I have tried installing the DirectX runtime from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 but even after rebooting it still appears.

I also tried verifying the game, reinstalling it, deleting the save games & configs.

I have Windows 11 24H2 26100.1457, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 24.8.1 drivers.

I seem to have resolve the issue. I uninstalled the game now via the 'uninstall' option in Steam and installing it again.

Before I just removed the whole game and 'reinstalled' it via the verify local files option, which doesn't seem to be enough.
