One thing I learned from the many years playing the game, is that whenever there is a major update, I need to delete the Satisfactory Config files. The developers are always changing them, and not removing old (invalid) settings. For me, when starting after the update, only the Engine.ini and GameUserSettings.ini files were initially replaced (after I removed them).
Ini files are here: AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\Config\Windows
And before doing all of this, remember to back the files to a safe place first.
Edit: Note that I only need to restore the 'mPlayerMappedKeys=' settings in the GameUserSettings.ini file to get my key bindings back to normal.
2 Satisfactory installs were found, but all of them point to folders that don't exist.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"
"c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"
Got exactly the same error message.
-e
you will need to run a clean version of the client until the mods get updated
Error
1 Satisfactory install was found, but it points to a folder that doesn't exist.
which basically means that the Mod Loader its self is also down, so not even that will work as they are trying to fix the mod loader.
Is there some other nonsense folder they're all saved in or something? Is it secretly on my C: drive or some nonsense?
