Frame generation absolutely not working
I had much higher framerates before last patch.

Either with DLSS (which is blocked from using it even with a 3rd party mod it seems) or with FSR3. Not sure why CS blocked the use of a 3rd party mod to use framegen on non RTX4xxx cards since the last patch tho but that is not what this is about.

If I try to enable frame generation true the console it does NOTHING.

AMF If I enable FSR frame generation in the video options it actually decreased framerate

System:
3060ti
5800x3d
x570s mainboard
64gigs ddr4-4000
2xvery fast nvme

I have a 4080 and yup, Frame Generation and DLSS are broken now. Both do nothing for me, so it's not because you used a mod for 3060.

Just wondering if you tried to uninstall/ reinstall your drivers to see if that fixes DLSS.

Not yet. I don't really want to do this as DLSS works in other games. I'm gonna install Cyberpunk 2077 and run the benchmark. Cyberpunk has great support for all NVIDIA technologies.

I removed the Satisfactory's settings files and that didn't help.

Oh, and I've reset the Satisfactory driver profile with NVIDIA Profile Inspector but that didn't help either.

So DLSS and FG work in Cyberpunk but I did a clean reinstall of the NVIDIA driver anyway and it indeed fixed FG in Satisfactory. Go figure.

Probably the Sati game profile was messed up. NVIDIA Profile Inspector is kinda old, last release was March 2023. I wonder if it's been abandoned.

Nah... Every other game works perfectly fine.... There is definitely an issue with this in the game as far as I can see...

Nah as in no. If every other game works without any issues and only this one is giving you issues it is most likely a problem with this game.

But having said that I did just cleanup my drivers and reinstall and I have to admit that things run smoother and FSR FG appears to be working.

So not too proud to admit defeat but in this case yeah, it did seem to make a difference.
