Alien Power Augmenter seems to be overly detremental to Performance

Happened in Multiplayer session. Me as client.
Got a weird Input Lag around Main Base(Big Factory) when i returned there after a while. Later Host tells me its the Augmenter and removes it which seems to solve the Problem.
