I cant placing anything

I played this game a little bit, and after I unlocked the MK-1 drill that I wanted to place immediately. After i rotated this machine on the ore vein and clicked the left mouse, nothing happened. I checked the materials, have seen how others have done it on YouTube, reinstalled and with other machines its the same problem, conveyor belt too. What can I do?

Your screenshots are private so no one can see them.

Make sure you have removed the resource rock on top of the ore node.

I had removed the top of the ore node and i cant place any machine anymore.

So, you say you can't place "anything". We need to narrow it down. Is it really "anything" or just some specific items? For example, can you put foundations down, can you build a container or any other machine, power poles, conveyor belts etc?

BTW, conveyor belts are different, they require two mouse clicks, by default, to build a single end of a belt. The first click anchors the belt hologram, then you can move the mouse to increase the height of the pole and then the second click actually places the belt.

We need to figure out if this is some global issue, perhaps with key bindings or mouse input, or if it is an in-game problem that is specific to some items.

I cant place anyting what i can build. I tried Smelter, Constructer, MK-1, Equipment Workshop, Craft Bench, Power Pole MK 1, with Power Line I m not really sure than I cant place it anywhere then i tried conveyor pole (two mouse clicks), Conveyor Belt MK 1(at the smelter and on the ground) and the Storge Container. Thats all what i can (if i can) build. The mini mining roboter which you can have in the inventory that thing i can place.

Why don't you try resting your keybindings? Perhaps you've changed something like Jack-o-Lantern suggested?
