A 1060 is gonna be low on the list to try and run this game. They updated the minimum requirements with update 8.

I'm running it on 1060 GTX 3GB (driver version 31.0.15.3623) . whammed it up to ultra (just to see) and its going fine so I don't think its your card . I got a slowdown when a Christmas event kicked in and things stated coming from the sky but a reload sorted that out.

This game runs perfectly in 1080P Ultra at 60 FPs with my GTX 1060 6GB without using FSR.
You can try to pass the DDU and then install the latest driver.

I am having some weird issues too. At random times throughout the game it crashes my GPU and requires a hard reset to restore video. All other games i'm running are smooth. Changing video settings in the game hasn't made any difference. Definitely making the game tough to play.

Have you done a clean install of your GPU driver (i.e. uninstalling the old driver before installing the new one)?

+1, the post is another problem and I didn't mention it, but in my case with the latest patch the GPU disconnects and Windows goes to Software mode and the frame rate is terrible (MSI Afterburner shows all GPU values at 0), the game lasts a few minutes until crashes, then I have to restart the PC to revive the GPU. It works perfectly in the main menu, it's only when loading my save or starting a new game.

I'm getting practically the same error, except with the manufacturer references being AMD. The demo worked fine on my computer but the full version just gives me a link to AMD's website then "Couldn't load imgdll" then crash to desktop.

Yeah it's just that your graphics driver is incompatible with the rendering API your game is trying to launch with. You can update the card, update the driver, rollback the driver, or the easiest solution if a driver update or driver rollback doesnt work would be to force launch the game with a different rendering api and see if it will work for you.

Here are the different launch codes you can attempt with.
Let me know if you need instructions on how to launch the game with these, but you should be able to find it in the game's properties menu in your steam library
-d3d11 (obviously this one is already an issue for you)
-dx11
-d3d12
-dx12
-vulkan

Hope it helps.
