Micro stutters - Experimental
When I load up the game, everything is buttery smooth. I have a 2060Super, 16GB Ram, i9 11900k and my whole system is overclocked.

After an arbitrary amount of time, I start to see what looks like a frame rate drop, in exactly the same areas that were previously buttery smooth. It's like the difference you get with dragging a window around on windows desktop on a high refresh rate (240hz) display compared to how it looks on a lower one 60hz or so. The edges of things 'stutter' very minutely and seemingly with a changing refresh rate, or the difference you sometimes see with Vsync on and off in some games.

What's weird of course is the game can be smooth as silk for up to 2 hours (as it was earlier today) and then it just starts this behaviour. A quit to desktop and restart brings back the smoothness.

I have tried with DLSS on and off, but the problem remains with both settings. When it's happening, no amount of changing the video settings will make it go away. Even putting everything on low and low resolution. The only solution is a quit and re-play.

Not a biggie, as a reset sorts the issue as described, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Turn off the new lighting system to see if it has memory leak? You may need to restart game with it off for full test.

Weirdly, (even though I forgot to change any settings) today I haven't seen the issue once and played for a good 4 hours. Very odd.

I suspect you had somthing in the back ground that was using some of your processor or alot of your processer and disk. Maybe a windows update installing or somthing. Every time it happend to me it was a scheduled task that I didnt realize was scheduled.

some of the stuttering is caused by the internet connection to steam, i have noticed steam a few times loses internet connection even though i still had internet working fine..p.s i use landline not wifi...
