If you haven't already, lower the graphics. Another cause of this may be because you have it on your hard drive rather than the built in drive. At least, that's what makes it take so long to load for me. Hope it gets better for you soon.

Hmm I am running an old as f!@% AMD 8350, GTX 1060 6GB card 2- 256 GB SSD's and a 1 TB spinning rust drive 64GB of some old slow ram and my game runs just peachy and yes.. new one is currently being built, I'm retired so $$$$ just doesn't grow on trees. still need video card..

well my game loads in 35 seconds ( ingame and can walk ) thats quite fast.
specs:
Ryzen 7 5800 X3D 3.4GHz 8 cores
Samsung 980 M2 NVME 1 TB SDD
32 GB DDR4 RAM at 4000 Mhz
GeForce RTX 4060 8GB DDR6
Samsung 28" Monitor 4k - resolution 3840 x 2160
Ubuntu LInux 23.04 (64 Bit)

I have the same problem, sometimes it takes several minutes to start the game. The problem only exists under Windows 11 and in the experimental branch.

One of my saves takes 15 seconds to load, while another relatively new save takes only 5 seconds. Thats pretty quick.
If it takes several minuits then its not the game its the fact that your drive is slow or is busy with other tasks
My pc specs are
Ryzen 7 5800x
Rx 6700xt 12 gb vram
16 gb ddr4 ram @ 3600mhz
WD_Black N770 NVMe M.2 gen 4 SSD reading @ up to 5000 mbs.

I myself have a new gaming computer, and it is really great. Both drives have 2TB each, and it takes a long time for it to load for me as well. Just because someone has a loading problem doesn't make it their computer. I have issues with game things from time to time, and it isn't my computer. while ppl talking about loading times in seconds.. my save file (11MB) takes 8min30s to load. I have no clue why, this happens since 1 or 2 months. Had bigger savefiles to play and no problems there...

as far as I see there is no helpfull input (except 'buy a better pc' -> I have a pretty decent gaming comupter, thats not the problem ty ;-) )
any other suggestions?

hard to tell why... probably best thing is to go to satisfactory QA site and report that. So CSS can look at it eventually. (eventually you'll have to put your save somewhere for download...

also.... may be you can try to share your save and see if long load time is only for you or for everyone (with that save)
