Truck Pathfinding Problems
Has anyone noticed in the new experimental Update 7 that their trucks stop and hold at the point where a route begins? I had a truck loaded with a path going to the uranium cave from the western coast, and it stopped and "loitered" in the area where the path loop was closed. I deleted that path, and made a new one with a different start/end point, but it did the same thing again.

I know there's a longstanding bug where vehicles occasionally hit invisible objects while driving around. The strangest part is that if you're manually driving and hit one of these (it's not limited to AI vehicles) and just hold the accelerator, you'll eventually just pass through it. It's really strange. You'll hit it, stop, keep revving your engine for like 20-30 seconds without moving, and then just keep going.

I was not encountering any bugs in v6 or v5 (Experimental), but all of a sudden, when I went to v7 (Experimental), my one truck started sperging out.
I recognize your handle from other threads; thanks for the reply.

Lots of bug reports filed on this issue from the latest experimental update

same here. fun fact: the truck gets unloaded over distance after the trip time is met. get some coal every few minutes without the truck moving out of sight at all. it just bounces back 'n forth and when time is met it does some silly manoeuvers and then goes back to bouncing after unloading.

Just happened to me in Exp. 7. I was running a small truck for coal. Tried to create the path twice. Nothing complicated & a rather short loop. It get to a node and just shimmies back an forth on the node. I tried to create the path twice with the same issue. Had to run a rather long belt. Ok for this particular set up, but can see major logistic issues down the line.

Thanks, all. Glad to hear (regretfully) that I'm not the only only one experiencing this issue.

Same with me. The path I had my truck on ended right after my uranium dropoff, and then it just hung out there, accelerating/decelerating in the specific spot where the path finished (and using up it's batteries the whole time). Thankfully, I caught it in time and made a locomotive route for my uranium, but still... <frustrated>

I was actually just about to make a thread on this. But I found this! Yes, my truck at the starting part of my destination will continuously move forward a split second and then backwards for a split second, it does this on repeat. However, if you wait long enough, in the game, the truck is actually going to the destination... I only see the truck moving back and forth quickly. I waited it out while it was running, searching the forum.. and then I realized I heard my truck stop. I naturally thought it ran out of fuel, but to my surprise, it was full of cargo and fueled up.

I waited a little while longer, and sure enough, the truck station just picked up cargo from the truck and unloaded into the dock station. So, a weird glitch, but in my save file, the truck is actually picking up the cargo...but not actually physically moving to the destination.

Update 7 -- I know about the reporting site, just thought I'd drop a few things here too.

1. Created a short loop to test the tractor and it failed by going back and forth at the starting / end point. Tested this both "on" and "off" of foundations (ground)... same issue.

2. Also, I noticed the doors and conveyor wall pieces don't take a color when painted. If you save and come back in, it's there. Intermittant issue.

3. One last funny thing... at the land bridge leading to the four coal nodes in the forrest biome, there is an elite hog on the bridge. I saw him with a JET PACK on his back. lmao. I lost it when I saw that, man. Doesn't always show up, but he had it on two times that I saw on two different days, lol.

Blue prints worked for me just fine.
Going back to Update 6 for now.
Enjoy your day! :)

Same issue, just got back to starter base. And trucks are stalled on a node. Deleted route and ran a new one. Same problem
