How have the belt visual bugs gotten so bad?
If you're not directly hosting, every player connected either to your host session or dedicated server will see an absolute truckload of belt visual bugs. From the more simple ones such as items just disappearing and reappearing, to the more complex ones where lifts have their items just climbing into the sky or down into the ground, it's getting to the point to where the factories just because a huge buggy eyesore of a mess.

Is there ANYTHING that can be done about these visual bugs at all on the belts?

Yes, there is :D ...
Build walls and foundations around them, so you can not see the belts ;)

This doesn't help when you have 10+ stacked conveyors ascending miles into the sky above your factory. So no, it seems there currently isn't.

Of course it helps :) . It is only more work to do. And if you have belts in the sky you also have basefoundations, where they are placed on. Put walls left and rigth. With zoop not to much work.

Btw, this also saves your FPS.

My son always encase all belts he places. From the beginning on.

But also, you are rigth, this should be fixed by the devs :).
But it is only cosmetics. the troughput is not affected by the false visuals.

Dyson sphere program is pretty famous for bringing the play experience to a grinding halt at 10 FPS when you build too large (past the end of the story a good ways). These "belt visual bugs" may be a result of coding which is limiting the total workload of your system. You might not want them solved.

You're not understanding what I am saying, at all.

The belts ascend into the sky, for miles, no matter where my belts are placed. Walls, foundations, ceilings, nothing stops it. It just continuously bugs out to the top of the skybox, like the Space Elevator, multiples.

I understand you. But it is possible to wall them all in. It may be a lot work for you, but it is possible.
And when they are walled in, then you do not see the glitches AND the game engine do not render them (saving FPS).

You can wall in EVERYTHING.

The Burch Kalifa, the Stark Manison and the Bladerunner Pyramid also wasnt built in 10 Minutes, but they exists in Satisfactory.

And the Things Josh has done have surley also taken many many MANY hours.

love it when bugs in games gives you a reason to spend several hours to not see those bugs

This is not a solution. This is forcing players to have to spend a bunch of unnecessary materials, time, and effort just to hide a visual bug that should be fixed. Stop simping for the developers and recognize a glaring issue when there is one. It needs to be fixed, that's it.

i believe you can switch the visual effects off for the belts via in game option menu

Nope, no such option exists anymore, there are no belt-specific options at all in the settings now as of Update 6.

You explecitly asked for "Is there ANYTHING that can be done about these visual bugs".

Surley the Devs should solve the problem, but as you asked, there is ONE solution. That you (and I personally) do not like it doesnt mean it is no solution.

[edit]
So the correct first answer (in your mindset) is :

No, nothing can be done, until it get fixed by the devs.

Yes, to correct the issue, not to hide it. And if the answer was no, that's all I needed, I can wait until it is fixed.

A little nitpicking for my last comment here :steamhappy:
"done about" includes hiding.

And then, have a nice day and I cross my fingers for a fast fix.
