Do you have enough coal running to it to actually power it at 100% ?
Do you have enough water running to it to actually power it at 100% ?
Is it connected to a power line connected to your power network ?
Did you accidentally hit the standby switch?
And even when i tried to make an isolated network, they just refused to work.
If they aren't in standby mode (flipped the switch) and they have water and you've verified that the coal generator actually has water in its little storage window and it has coal just sitting in its internal storage container then it should eat the coal and drink the water even if it isn't connected to anything. If it doesn't, flip the switch a few times.
- you hit the off switch button of the water extractor or powergen.
- Don't forget the plants and the water extractors use also power. So if you don't have enough power you need some extra juice to start. a temporarly biomass burner or 2 helps.
- All wires are connected
- If you have the 8/3 setup early. You need a coal supply of a MK2 belt(atleast)
