I can't cut down tree and grass with chainsaw.

its working fine for me, you need to be close and let it highlight the thing you wanna chop, if highlighted, it should be fine and be chopped

It did the same for me when I joined experimental on the last days before update 5 normal branch release. It lasted a little bit after I went back to normal branch, and then it worked as usual again.

It seems that the newer terrain additions do not highlight and resist obstacle removal by chainsaw. The grass and twigs can be "picked" but some reappear when you load the game. The older twigs and grass from before the terrain changes do highlight for the chainsaw and hand gathering. SO, basically anything added recently is "bugged", or maybe not....

Some of the cuttable foliage is bugged. I've noticed it in the desert over at the oasis and down by the ocean. Some of the trees, grass and sticks can't be cut down but you still get the items; though they can be picked up. I also noticed it on the giant mushroom trees down by the water.

Besides, the ore has low texture.

I had the same issue around the oasis in the NE desert. Trees elsewhere seem to disappear just fine. Apparently its a known bug.
