Control issues - Keyboard Cutting out

I'm having real problems with the keyboard controls cutting out at different periods through the game. This isn't like lagging it just stops for 10 mins or so at a time; and makes playing the game really frustrating! Anyone else had the same problem or know a fix?

I had something like that a couple of times. The game just didn't respond to any keys and mouse movements for about a second, but I didn't do anything about it and it stopped as it started.

On second thought, do you have a big save, and does the pause coincide with the autosave? Because the game does "pause" during save. And, the larger the save, the longer the pause.

once it happens, I cant continue with using my keyboard. So it's not like a lag because of a save or an extened lag because of a larger save. Just stops. i've tried two different keyboards and xbox controller. Those dont work either at this point. But outside of the game all is well with both keyboards and controller. No issues with the mouse however.......?

i came across some stuff on the lenova forums that seems to helped.
this is for wirelesss keboards and mice.

1. it seems that distance is a factor for the 2.4Ghz recievers when in a 3.0 usb port. make sure they arnt right next to another wireless thing. try and have atleast 1 usb port between them, or plug them in to separate rows on your computer if you can.
2. distance of the mouse/ keyboard from the computer is also aparently a factor. as the further away the more lagging. or the further from the reciever. perhaps there are wireless items that operate higher than 2.4 Ghz, they probably wont have this issue.
