one said that, a fresh windows install solved it.
good luck
This might happen if the program tries to run or change something that isn't there or it doesn't have access to, be it from a dx/C++ library, or in the memory (not declared or no access). In many cases it's actually the computer and not necessary the game that is the main problem, be it corruption or faulty memory modules or other driver/software/hardware problems, or faulty overclocking. Sometimes just switching the memory modules have fixed it.
("High End System" literally means nothing. It's like having allergies - sometimes a computers components in that ecosystem just overreacts to things, no matter if it's big or small, fast or slow, young or old. ;D)
Many had this kind of problem when f.ex. CyberPunk 2077 got released because the game utilized (or checked for) a certain CPU instruction that many didn't have... but regardless, it's necessary to use a process of elimination to try to estimate where the problem might be. If nothing works and you've eliminated your computer as the likely suspect to the best of your ability, then I suggest submitting a bug/support ticket directly to CSS.
Have it worked before, or did you just buy the game?
How old the CPU?
Did you recently upgrade/update something?
(And, never install a program/game into any system folders.)
Experimental or EA branch?
Excessive process running in the background?
First, try running the game with Steam shutdown, as in shutting down Steam properly (no lingering processes) and run the game directly, like this: D:\Games\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Satisfactory\FactoryGame.exe
What happens? (Steam not only supresses some errors, but also sometimes creates problems for the game or others programs.)
And you might as well run these as admin to check the system files are ok (doesn't take long):
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow
(If you can't fix the problems that arises here on a live system, you might have to use /Offline and supply the original .ISO to repair the system, or reinstall.)

So true..... i once had a Guy with a "High end System" that turned out to have GPU Driver from 2006....

Have it worked before?
- No, just bought the game.
How old is the CPU?
- It's the 2015 Intel i7, but I can overclock it up to 25% so it still plays games well. For this troubleshooting though I'm not overclocking anything.
Experimental or EA branch?
- The EA branch
Excessive process running in the background?
- Not really a big deal since I have 32 gig ram, but I also tried killing all other process and running without Steam offline like you mentioned, still crashes randomly after 10 min. Most crashes occur when I start to build things.
And you might as well run these as admin to check the system files are ok (doesn't take long)
- Ran them and received no errors, everything checked successfully.
I really doubt it's an issue with Windows 10 as I can play games that are much more demanding then this, like Escape from Tarkov at 120 FPS.
It must be some issue with Unreal Engine.
Again, doesn't mean much. A running process steals both memory and CPU cycles and different games can utilize different parts of a computer (hardware and software).
More RAM doesn't necessary equals better and less problems. Though, for pure gaming, you actually don't need more than about 8-12GB, but if you do have other processes running like a browser and such, 16GB is certainly better in that regard. Still, more memory doesn't negate the possibility that problems may occur and these two problems usually comes when there is a problem with the computer, mostly hardware.
I don't know that game, but this game is also quite demanding.
Another thing - Windows is terrible at managing the available memory at times. Even if you have 64GB it can still earmark a lot of these for the OS and not properly release it for resources demanding games, same goes for paging. That's one of the reasons one should reboot often when one is on a Windows PC.
Not saying it can't be, and it could be the game itself, but for some reason, your computer manages to single out that/those particularly bug(s) every time... I'm skeptical. Most people run this game just fine. In fact, it's one of the most stable game I've come a cross, especially considering it's in EA.
Unreal Engine do have a few errors that it is prone to when it comes to things like rendering, like the "D3D device lost" error, but not these two.
(And, we've seen several threads now that Steam doesn't always install or update a game properly, hangs the game and not properly let the game shut down. A 3rd party program is often the root of the problem also.)
I've personally run this game on 3 different computers (1 laptop and 2 self-built) and on both Win 7 and 10, and never had any problem with the base game. Though, they all used AMD, however, that shouldn't matter at all.
I totally forgot that the last time - check the logs. You can find them here:
%localappdata%\FactoryGame\Saved\Crashes
With that, perhaps the devs can more directly tell you whether it's a bug in the game or it's your computer: https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/
Good luck.
run Memtest86.
i had some problems with other games sometime and after putting out RAM and clean the contacts with a white pencil rubber and put them back the problem was gone, i checked the grafic card too.
maybe you should make a backup of your files
The rig I play this on, I built in 2011 "2600k" <<<<a slug by todays standards. hhahahha And I JUST looked, my GPU driver is from 2016.
Benchmark the PC , Prime 95/OCCT. Full power supply test in OCCT.
EDIT: to add Prime95 AND OCCT can cause failures in parts, Do so at your own risk. Yes I do use both for every PC I have ever built.
If you have anything like your CPU overclocked, even if it's more than capable of the overclock (like I have a liquid cooled system and 8 system fans), disable it.
If you use MSI afterburner, try reducing the power of the V-card by like 0.5% (-4).
Disable Process Lasso or anything else that affects the CPU.
I know it's annoying since you are making your system weaker for just this early access game, but after doing so this seemed to fix the issue.
Don't reinstall windows or anything else, this engine just seems to not accept any kind of overclocking or performance enhancing without crashing, even if your system is more than capable of doing so. From what I've read UE will assume the system is going over a limit that will break it and terminate itself, even though the system will actually be fine.
