help plz dismantle key

over hundreds of hrs of game play loaded up today the f , dismantle key wont work.. even tried to loading new game told to dismantle pod will not work. went in re keyed f still nothing. Had a report sent in cause my game crashed about 25 mins ago... plz help dont want to start over.

not sure.? how do i do that? I got on this morning and it worked, i went in to change the N key cause i keep hitting it with my thumb and the f key came out not working. it says not binded on the left little box . so idk? its showing the F key in dismantle.. but i dont know what the conf. looks like before i went in n changed the N key. i took all mods out, started new game even went in and deleted all the files in windows. reinstalled and still not working. ??

probably because your config got cloud saved

to verify files go to the games options on the steambrowser -> files

im sorry , i have went into every thing i can find on steam and im not seeing game options. ? i found cloud n turned it off. can you give me a little more info please.

The config files are located at:
C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\FactoryGame

Unfortunately, I don't think I saw anything that would help your situation... I poked through them and didn't see a key binding control for the deconstruct tool. Maybe you will see something I missed though...

I appreciate your help. I looked through the files on my pc, i see it did send a crash report just after it shut down n wouldnt work after. I think i has to do with the update. cause even the old games i had loaded up the f key just will not work, it wont even lite up the item. all i can do is hope they fix it. thanks

Do you hold the f key down? If you just tap the f key it will not work, it has to be held down.

Make sure you press APPLY after you set it or it wont take effect.
