Water Pump Bug?

I'm running into an issue where my water pumps, which are working just fine, all of a sudden stop. The pump animation even continues, with a green light on, but no water flows. If I build a valve just under the pump then immediately remove it, everything works fine again. Any ideas what might be causing this? Also, flushing the pipe underneath the pump doesn't fix the problem. Sometimes replacing the pipe works, other times it does not.

Sounds like you are maxing out the head pressure. Click on the pump and see what is the head pressure. If it is maxe out then you need another pump higher up to push it up further.

It was the first pumps in each line and they were working for hours and just stopped. Regardless, it did seem to be headlift and adding pumps closer to the base (rather than about 8m up since water extractors are supposed to give 10m) seemed to work.
