Suspicious File: factorygame.exe

My av blocked the factorygame.exe ... it said it is infected with IDP.Generic. So what do i do now? needed Help

Game exe is only 170kb, you could easily upload it to somewhere like VirusTotal ( https://www.virustotal.com ) or Jotti's Malware Scan ( virusscan.jotti.org/en ) and scan it with all the antivirus.

Idk, thinking about uninstalling it now. Maybe i'll wait when if its not an Early Access anymore.

After Validating all files, Steam said there's one file that missing. When steam tried to acquire it, it said DISK WRITE ERROR. What do i do now?

IDP.Generic is a message which come often from AV's that hasn't been updated for longer time. For example AVG and also Avast show you “fals positiv warnings if there are outdated.

I cant download the file, steam always said DISK WRITE ERROR for the file. I Already uninstalled the game.

update your anitvirus or use one thats functional

most anti virus allow you to place files on a exception list so they stop trying to delete these files. (they know that heuristic or behavior analyses often make false positive but since it's sometime allow AV to find previously unknown virus they keep using it)

since it's steam and I don't think the game itself is Infected you can even just temporarily turn off the AV while steam fix and redownload the file , it's probably messing around with steam and preventing it from writing the file again.

and then when you figure out how to tell your AV to stop deleting the file you can turn it back on.
