Hover Pack Bug

Very often when im using the hover pack, it will get stuck going up and up. or sometimes down. I press / spam C to go down but it wont go down. Just gets stuck going up untill i take it off and back on. Happens to my co op friend too. any fix or am i missing somthing.

Most likely a multiplayer issue like with vehicles and trees and whatever else.

Solution: play solo.

Can confirm that this still happens very regularly when transitioning from freefall to hovering by tapping space. The hover pack get stuck in the ascend mode. Tapping space again will fix it. It's like the key release event sometimes gets lost when activating the pack. Tried opening the chat while the ascend was stuck, and the space bar still works correctly, so it's not a case of stuck input.

I'm on experimental and playing on dedicated server.

The bug exists in solo also.

the next time you get stuck going up try hitting space again and see if that stops you from going up. same thing for going down...hit c one more time and see if that helps
if this is the case then its a bug that affects nearly everything where a key gets stuck in the pressed position if you are pressing it when you open any window.

Huren, have you tried reading what has been previously posted before posting yourself? It might be an issue with reading comprehension, and you might have to turn it off and back on again (judging from your incoherent sentence structure and complete lack of puctuation).

But it absolutely is not connected with opening windows while pressing keys, as the issue occurs when doing NOTHING except tapping space during freefall.

I read it...it sounded almost exactly like a bug I ran into but I sort of found a work around for it which I explained in my post
