[solved] No sound from the constructor

Yestersday i were playing normally, and all of a sudden the constructors stopped making any sound, but the game still works normally.
I restarted the game, changed volume, started a new save (multiple times) and still no sound from the constructor.

As i said, everything else works fine, sounds and all. Just the constructors stopped making any sound at all across all my saves and still persists after reinstalling the game.

I mean, i could still play normally, but after 90+ hours not hearing the constructor just gives me the nerves and makes the game unplayable for me.

Can confirm. Also seeing an issue with constructors not making much noise at all. Sounds almost as if the volume was turned waaaay down on them, but I have all volumes maxed out.

So it seems like it's sort of common then; I've seen another couple of posts and bug reports online for this same issue.
I hope the developers fix it when they come back from vacation.

That's what I'm saying. Half the fun of the game is hearing all the welding and smashing and pressing around you. It just doesn't feel....satisFactory without it.

BLOODY HELL I FIXED IT AND IT WAS THE DUMBEST THING EVER

why didn't i think of it before. I'm such an idiot.

simply delete

 C:\Users\[yourUsername]\AppData\Local\FactoryGame

(do a backup first, just in case) and restart the game.

I've looked into it, and it contains only the savegames, the game settings as configuration files and some crash logging ♥♥♥♥ for the chinese to study the whatabouts of your machine [it's funny cuz Coffee Stain had a deal with Epic and Epic bad cuz chinese so lulz{yes i'm high on iJustSolvedABugriwana}]

if you have Steam Cloud Sync activated Steam will sync your savegames the moment you boot it up, but you will lose your customizations.
But nevermind, it's just about setting your language, fov, mouse sensitivity, and command bindings back, no big deal really, given the reward for fixing such a stupid bug.

I kind of came in my pants when i finally heard the constructors making their gorgeus sound again!

that was truly satisFactory.
Now, for ♥♥♥♥'s sake, i will be wasting another 100 hours of my miserable life on this drug, carefully listening to the constructors making their gorgeus sounds.
