Power Plant Plutonium Fuel Rod Consumption seems high.
I have 60 Pl fuel rod power plants. The waste gets turned in to Ficsonium fuel rods feeding 30 power plants.

Ficsonium is being processed with full output belts with minimal output buffer sizes.

However, after several hours, the Pl waste will start clogging up the power plants.

I thought I did something wrong and flushed the waste a few times, but it still fills up. I get the feeling Pl fuel rod burn rate is higher than advertised.

I gave up for now, I'm sure it will self balance out eventually as the power plants deactivate when output is full, but it still bothers me that I may have missed something obvious.

Check your math - use https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ to compare numbers with.

Sometimes its the simple things that evade detection in terms of what's happening.
60 nuclear power plants run by plutonium should consume 6 rods per minute.
Also you should produce 1 waste per rod in ingress.... that means 6 waste per minute

this with normal clocking
6 Pu rods/min = 60 waste/min

Go over your math. How many Pu fuel rods are you producing. Then check your powerplants on how many you're consuming. they should match up. You mention 60 reactors, but not how they're clocked. at 100% that would consume 6 Pu rods/min, at 200%, 12 Pu rods/min.
The waste is x10 of the amount of rods you burn.

Then check your particle accelerators, make sure they're running at 100% and consuming all the waste. When i made my nuclear plant i balanced it poorly, the ikea lamps built up slowly and eventually the output on the lamps would prevent waste from being processed. I found out you cannot sink the lamps, so ended up rebuilding it to balance it perfectly, and then created an overflow system where excess lamps would get processed into ficsonium fuel rods and burned in a lone reactor. It would only be like one lamp every hour or so but without the overflow it eventually created a problem in my setup.

Thanks, guys.

I had to dig up all my notes.
It was originally 30 U plants, 80 Pu plants, 40 Fics Plants.

It seems some time early on, I just saw the U plants, and just planted 3 more blocks of 30 plants. So, between my stupidity and being so resource limited, I just didn't notice. Since the FICS fuel rods were running on full, I thought I was doing fine.

I turned off machines to balance to 60/30 plants. I just don't want to work in that radioactive pit to fix it to original, not to mention, I can't endure resource scrounging again.

Thanks again, I'll tell you if everything works out in a few days.
