Why does Drone Port not fill with goods?
I am trying to haul goods over a long distance using the drone port, but it does not fill with supplies even when hooked up to a conveyor belt.

What am I doing wrong? The power is turned on, and the drone flies between ports, but the port does not pick up supplies, even when supplies are manually put into the drone.

Based on the mistakes I've made, I would say that you probably have the fuel port hooked up and not the material / inventory port. It's really subtle, but the fuel port has a small gas can beside it.

If not that, then the only reason that things don't get loaded in is because no power, or you hit the pause production button, or the inventory is full.

Like truck stations they have a fuel input as well as a transport input.
Are you sure you connected your product to the correct input?

Oh, wait, you said manually still doesn't work. You sure you're putting them on the right side? There's an incoming and outgoing side, unlike train and truck stations.

So two things were happening. 1st, you were absolutely correct in that I did NOT see the gas tank above the port. I (while dodging radiation) split the conveyor to the correct port and the goods are flowing in.
The SECOND thing that happened is I mixed up "input" with "output." My mistake was thinking the goods coming IN were the input.

So apparently I mistook the input side for the goods coming in from the conveyor. They go into the output side, since they are the port's output, which I guess makes sense.

Both views make equal sense. It's an eternal struggle to clarify these terms. ;)
