You can set the default swatch for them before you build them, but if they are already placed you have to paint yourself.

Finishes count as a swatch, just set as default

What I like to see if a different default that can be set for foundations vs machines. Right now the default is the same so have to switch it back and forth depending on if I am making foundations/walls vs machines.

I know..as I said I have to keep switching
I separate default would be nice but its fine as it is as I have grown used to changing it between doing machines vs walls.

I see concrete walls in your screenshot.. I wonder why they didnt add one for normal walls or the other types of walls.

Can you describe how i can set copper finisher for every pipe?
I tried right click on finisher and check "pipes" but it does nothing.
It works only for new pipes?

After you set the finish/swatch as default on pipes, all pipe placed after will be that color.
It so you don't have to color each, but you have to set the one you want to default before you place them.
Like I will set the default for pipes to a blue color for water coming from an extractor.
Then I will set that default to a purple for Heavy Oil Residue or Black for crude.
I just have to remember to switch the default to the new color before placing them.

Any pipes currently you will have to manually change.

That is how all of them work. Moving the default only affects new things that fit that category.
