A mk1 miner produce 30 on a impure node, 60 on a normal node and 120 on a pure node
A mk2 miner produce 60, 120 and 240 on impure,normal and pure nodes.
And thats with no overclocks.
1. Upgrade your belt.
2. Check the purity of the nodes you are using.
That'd explain the difference.
Both miners have 0 overclocks.
Normal Iron node with 3 power shards (overclocked to 250%) = 600 output
Pure Iron node with 3 power shards (overclocked to 250%) - 1200 output
when using mk3
...I mean... When you look at the node, you get a tooltip telling you the purity. I'm not sure how much more obvious they could make it...?
So for me it was a tad confusing early on but I quickly figured out you have to look at the node not the part on top.
Generally I can never remember purity values so I just drop a miner mk1/mk2/mk3 (whatever you have available) on it and I'll know if it will work or not at worst case - can always recover it if I don't want to use it there.
Also helpful in terms of clocking ability as I keep a stack of shards on me.
Just checked. It simply says "Press E to start mining <ore>".
It wasnt like that years back and for the few months playing it tripped me up when I thought it was pure but found only the top part was pure.
