Copy/paste via mouse macro

Until a few updates ago I could run down a row of constructors all while clicking the side button of my mouse (Side button was mapped to a macro of ctrl-v) and it would paste whatever I'd copied previously without issue. Now.. not so much. I have to double-click the button rapidly, sometimes multiple times before the game will register the paste command being sent to it. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Yeah. They keep making the game worse with each patch. It is infuriating.

This has nothing to do with the copy/paste in the game. It is still working just fine as I use the cntrl/v cntrl/c all the time. Check the macro set on your mouse. The mouse driver may have updated behind the scenes and changed something.

This.

The only thing I've noticed is the hitbox shrunk a bit - but the function works fine.
You see a "gear" but no text - no text == no copy/paste ability.

It's weird - but not broken - more annoying than anything.

i went into the key commands and just set the 2 buttons on my mouse i wanted to use. No need to macro. its in the game settings.

*tho ive not tried after this new patch about that hitbox Kage mentioned.

Been there since 1.0.0.5....maybe 1.0.0.6?

I do the same as you with a macro (dpi-up button; Corsair, the dreaded iCUE) and it still works just fine for me. Maybe check your macro and see if something got messed up there.

ah i think i do know what you mean. looking at production machines from ground level near the connection port, and worse with a lift in the way?
when im copy/pasting i am usually flying over them so i can do it quick. but i have noticed that from time to time when i just wanted to look inside the machine and i am near foundation lvl.

I've had the same problem since 1.0 and I'm just using ctrl+c and ctrl+v. Sometimes it just won't register. I am usually hovering above them so nothing is in the way.

Yeah - I think the greater majority of folks are raging over something "subtle" - they think its broken but like I keep saying - the hit box shrunk. Patience these days is slim to none in games har har har.

You can see clearly the "Gear" icon pops - and your supposed to be able to interact with it - but if there's no text - nothing happens.

Not even "interacting" to program the machine.

Now yes its annoying as hell - yes its a bug that needs fixing - but I prefer these things to be precisely identified and not "nuked from orbit" :P

Just my 2 cents.

But yeah - it works - its just more annoying than usual.
