Are the requirements for phase 4 final?
I'm at the end of the game but i really don't feel like doing the space elevator phase 4. I would rather start a new game or have fun building something but i want to finish the game at least once and without any kind of mods. Should i do it right now or it will be easier later?

They're being greatly scaled back for 1.0 as they were only placeholders until then. I forget the exact numbers, but I believe up to a 90% reduction in requirements.
