Unless I have big stuff running in the background and try doing lots of things quickly, then it crashes.
Otherwise it's flawless. Must be something on your end.
What does the crash log say?
By following this thread I have tried DX11, DX12 and Vulcan but doesn't fix the problem. Even upgraded my graphics card recently from GTX-1070 to RTX-3070 but the game still keeps crashing. I guess it has something to do with how the new engine works with older CPU models. I run with i7 7700K and it have worked flawlessly before the engine upgrade.
For now I just wait the 1.0 release and hope it will fix these issues. In the meantime I am forced to live my real life without factory crafting =(
I'd like to know more.
Don't think so, I'm Matt, that's Mike, he's Jeff. ~points~
If you crashed 5 times in 20 minutes in a new game then you definitely have a problem on your side. Either your hardware is below specs (CPU, GPU, RAM), or your GPU drivers are old, or something is overheating in your PC or you have some third party software conflicting with the game.
Without knowing your specs it will be impossible to help you then. Please copy Steam->Help->System Information.
