Satisfactory is Jaw Dropping in VR
Did you know VR works really good in satisfactory using UEVR?

It looks really amazing. True 3d, no glitches and really good performance actually.

Im running mostly ultra / high mix settings and rendering at 2,8K per eye (150% valve index)
Achieving stable 50+ fps or easy 80+ when rendering at only 100%. But I prefer 150% and 50 fps with motion smoothing 1/2 @90 Hz. It only tanks a little bit in the forest where is a lot of foliage (foliage has the largest impact on performance). There I reduce rendering resolution to 120% to counter this and maintain 50fps.

Specs are Ryzen 7 3700X (yea its old) + RTX 4080S + 32GB RAM + Valve Index. Not a high end system about mid range.

I am now playing it exclusively in VR and never want to go back to flat really.

When I first started last November one of my first thoughts was "It would look great in VR", shame there are no official support for things like that.

Some of the old games (Witcher 3, ME Andromeda) while being a "flat" games would let you take 360deg stereoscopic screenshots using Nvidia's Ansel feature. Great for viewing the game world in your headset. Again, shame that more developers doesn't support this feature.

The engine itself actually has native VR support out of the box, it only needs to be activated, thats whats UEVR is basically doing. It works with any unreal game. But each unreal game needs some minor tweaking. Sometimes there are a few glitches and one needs to fidle a little bit with cvars. But satisfactory works as is.

I can highly agree to this. Playing Satisfactory in VR using UEVR is awesome.
Yet, official support would be the real ficsit way.

TIP: reprojection mode needs to be switched to "Symmetric" both on vertical and horizontal in UEVR settings to repair some texture offsets not matching in both eyes when the sun is low.
