Set default colors?

In the EA you could set default colors on the painter tool but i get the feeling that is no longer the case considering i cant find flowers and no longer need the tool to paint things.

So how do you set the default color now please?

The default factory color is based on what you set in your character customization in the HUB. The first 2 colors are used as the primary/secondary defaults for factory buildings

Unlock the awesome store and awesome shredder and you will get the "customizer" afterwards. With this you can paint your building, pipes, have access to new structure material etc.

I have my colors set in the HUB, they however are not carrying over to my factory parts.

And yeah i know i can paint my buildings, what i am looking for is a way to set the default color to something other than orange etc when i place the building, without having to manually change the colors.

*Edit* ok found a dropdown in the HUB that lets me set it.

*Edit edit* none of the colors will apply to the building part presets, only my character even with the dropdown.

it's in the build menu 'Q' tabs at top for builder/customizer/blueprints.
'X' takes you straight to this menu. unlocks with the ficsit shop and resource sink.

You need to change the top left colour swatch in the customiser - that is the one your factory uses as the default colours

Press X and in the customizer just set default no more paints! if you cahgne the default it cahnges everything on default paints now! if you wanna set a non stadard paint like chrome you can right click and set it to the stuff you want but sadly it cant be set to default for those.
Its much easier overall though!
