Does your jet pack and hover pack ever get out of control?
Sometimes and out of nowhere, my hover pack will not climb.
When this happens I am pinned to the ground and can neither run nor jump even a foot. As if I were covered in cement... seriously, it's weird..
And
The jet pack and Hover pack both can randomly go into a terminal climb on their own....
If it's the hover pack- by switching out the packs then some control can be restored if you're nimble.
Once I'm out of jet gas though, and before I achieved the Hover pack, well... the dreaded deadly free fall begins, which gives you time ( depending on how high up you are) to contemplate how lacking in hope your situation is, because you quit carrying parachutes a long time ago.
Just wondering if it's a glitch or if the Coffee people think that's funny too?
And, I still say the Hover should come before the jet !!!

I think it's a glitch which coffee stain laughs a lot about :)
Crouch sometimes stops working and crouch and jump seem to fix each other.
My Jet Pack only flies into burnout when I fly up during autosave.
I disagree with the latter. You get fuel first, advanced engineering later.

This is a known glitch that can happen if you are flying while holding the up or down control, and then enter a UI, like the build menu, inventory, or building inventory. The up/down control gets stuck on so when you leave the UI it acts like you're holding the button even though you're not. Sometimes alt/tabbing to Windows can clear it, or of using the hoverpack, flying out of power range for a while.

I found that when that happens, simply pressing the Up button again clears it and I regain control.

I have "c" as crouch and "space" as jump. When I have the hover pack on, sometimes this happens when I'm climbing or descending while entering a build menu. To stop it, I exit the build menu and hold "c" while pressing "space". It works every time to normalize it.
