It will balance out in time, which is what i think is happening here... OP just hasn't let the manifold even out.
I thought i stumbled on a Dev blunder. But it was just me.
By the way, you really should try to use the aluminium ingot + SAM recipe as it is dramatically more SAM efficient than the iron ingot one.
Alum ingot & Sam was my first goto but its halfway across the map. But the area i built in had ample Iron nodes. Im not trying to break any records for output. Jsut wanted to make the parts while i was off doing other stuff.
