At anytime I can equip the zipline tool change on the fly between hovering and ziplining, et vice versa.
But let's not sidetrack!
I know about the energy aspect. But ... The jetpack is unique in the sense that different fuels have different perks.
For instance it makes energy wise no sense that Liquid Bio Fuel carries you twice as far than Turbo Fuel. But it's just like that. That is it's perk.
The perk of Turbo Fuel is that you need to tap a lot less.
So what about the perks of Rocket Fuel and Ionized fuel? Are there none or are there some, this is the question.
I believe ionized fuel get best bang for usage.
What *exactly* is changing? Which parameter is this "bang"?
As you see in my OP there are different parameters AKA different "bangs".
Ditto - hoverpack was designed for construction - I also use it when I'm slow exploring/hunting - yeah have to bring powerpoles with me but its great when it comes to tactical situaitons.
Jetpack ill bust out for highspeed/cliff climbing situations. Course I'm using Turbofuel at the moment.
Oh it works for travel - its just not as fast.
I still try to find out about the exact parameters of the different fuels. Would you know something about that - did you unlock the fuels and try it with the jetpack?

Each type of fuel is how much distance you can go "up" with it.
I found that I can use my parachute to fly up some parts of the terrain.
I use it to float down from my sky frame which is holding up my radar network. During this gradual fall, I can scout out the area.
Parachutes don't need an electrical network or fuel. Lol
I barely use the Jetpack since the Parachute changes in Update 8.
On Topic
So with a quick test on my AGS save,
Not really seeing a difference with Rocket and Ionized fuels.
Man you get some height tho.
Liquid Biofuel just Last forever, So that is going to be my go to for Jetpack Fuel, As I'm generally just using it to maintain a certain height or directional control
I'll use Rocket Fuel if I need the height Boost.
In all fairness - if he's played the game longer than most - he prob didn't know that you only need one parachute - people don't read patch notes.
But then again - this is "B" we're talking about here >.>;
Slide jump yourself off a MK6 belt or hypertube cannon? Yeah, you can fly across the entire map with a single unit of liquid biofuel.
You really need to stop doing that.
Nope, you are wrong. Staying in the air *is* travelling, when done while at high speed. That's how planes work you know. Granted rocket fuel works great for that too, possibly just as well as biofuel, but that wasn't the part you were arguing.
