Now Streaming it from your pc is fine.
As to "does it run well"? - within reasonable expectations - but that's a subjective viewpoint.
I personally don't have deck, but personally know someone that play satisfactory only on deck. He had to take a bit of time to find correct joypad settings for when he play only with deck.
When he doesn't he connect deck with a mouse+keyboard, but still using deck....
so, definitively runs well
Except he's right.
If you had read the thread you'd realize that it IS playable on Steamdeck and obviously people are doing so.
So telling the OP "I don't know" and then saying "Just play it on PC" - is rather ignorant.
You would be better off saying nothing at all.
Obviously you don't own a Steamdeck nor know anyone who has one to give an objective viewpoint.
So yeah - you gave a pointless - useless answer.
And before you fly off the rail with "passive aggression" again - I own one - and played this game on the Steamdeck successfully - quite a few hours in fact.
So now you know it can be done.
What part of "Objective" viewpoint did you not understand?
Maybe you should educate yourself on the Steamdeck before you start making assumptions.
1st the Steam Deck is a PC, shaped like a handheld console.
So are the ROG Ally and Legion Go.
The whole point of these handheld portable PCs is play on the go, it isn't about playing at top performance, just "good enough".
I don't think Satisfactory plays "good enough" on the steam deck, but others might.
My Deck is mostly used for Metroidvanias (like Hollow Knight) and Rogue-lites (Like Hades)
Why are you even participating in a subject you know nothing about in the first place?
I'm willing to bet you've never even looked at the specifications let alone bothered to read up on it - you're just trolling.
Considering the way you've answered and not bothered to read? I have a feeling you are grossly under-educated on the subject matter.
Anyone whose bothered to research the product wouldn't say the things you are saying.
You are guessing - and guessing very badly.
SteamOS is a Linux Based OS that is a Fork of Arch linux
I 100% dock it and switch to desktop mode and use it as a Linux Base desktop pc
Also one of the reasons it does a great job - OS isn't bloated/fat - less resources - more efficient.
No its not perfect - but it does a great job for what it is either way.
Course there are people who run Windows 11 on it (and I have no bloody clue why they do that but to each their own)
That and they are using KDE <3 - Can't help but giggle at that (Desktop mode for those who didn't know) - now the file structure it uses for emulation of windows directories is a nightmare - but that's not a new problem.
Yeah - migrating blueprint files into the Steamdeck for Sastisfactory is a bit of a chore.
I play primarily on the desktop when at home, but also on the steam deck when out or abroad. It took some time getting used to controls initially, but no dramas to speak of.
