I miss the rain - when will it rain again?

Does somebody remember how nicely it rained in Update 7. Everyting got shiny and then the soothing sounds of rain. Building in these moments was extra peaceful.

They talked about it in one of the devlogs. I don't remember which. Quote from wiki:

In Update 6 and 7, there used to be occasional rainfall across the world, excluding the Dune Desert. It has been removed in Update 8 due to the upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, and is expected to return in a future update.

Rain makes things green.
