If i wanted to put a factory in the sky and make shure that its floor will never colide with the map, what should be de lowest Z cordenate for this?

The highest point AFAIK is the uranium node in the north-west which is at +465 m.

You could also put it over the vast water in the west

Going too high screws with the fog, best to just build over lower areas. My current save I have a cantilever platform on the N and S of the Mountain in the middle that are on the same elevation as each other.

I may connect these around the E and W.

Yep highest point on the map is the only impure uranium node:

Rocky Desert node

Located on top of the tallest natural peak in the map, on the top of a rocky spire in the northeastern part of the Rocky Desert, along with a purple Power Slug, requiring considerable vertical scaling to reach.

Aside from the lone Flying Crab Hatcher on the plateau below the peak, this node is unguarded. This is the only impure Uranium Node.

Does anyone know if this mountain is still the highest mountain in-game after Satisfactory was updated with the 1.0 version?

Spoiler:
Btw. Could anyone also try to hover, fly or climb up (for example with a bunch of ladders) to reach the new infamous new space station in the orbit without receiving damage?

You can also try making a ramp upwards to the sky. But from update 6 till 8 it was the highest point on the map

there is a height limit, you run out of o2 and take damage like poison cloud.

Hopefully I can build up an entire factory with all of my production chains over the highest mountain again without receiving any damage which was the case until the update #8.

Do you maybe already know at which height do was reach the limit without receiving damage after v1.0?

Already been tried.
The death plane will kill you, before hand and no amount of thrust from a hypertube cannon will get your corpse up there.

I almost want to remake the 'tower of Babel' in the rocky desert. 12 foundations radius counted from the center in a circle. Then build up and up till you get damage, BUT you have to build machines also that do production, on the top the space-elevator will come. I just called it this because of that fabled tower that was getting build to heaven

look up at the tallest spot you can see from ground, you have more "up" from highest point than "up" from ground to highest.

So we instantly lose our full amount of health before reaching the new space station?

I can already tell you that making a factory this high up is going to be a massive pain in the ass. Whenever you want to go anywhere else you're going to have to get back on the ground, and vice versa. Not to mention having to get all of the resources up there, especially fluids, imagine the tediousness Yeah, I guarantee you that you are going to drop this idea soon after you start doing it.
