What's the deal with the massive FPS and achievement popup resolution in game? How do I fix this?
My resolution is set to 1080 yknow, the standard normal res and as far as I can tell everything else looks proper and in line with that. But this FPS counter I can't seem to disable at the top right is clearly bigger and blurrier than normal and when I get an acheivement the popup straight up covers 25% of my screen, is hella blurry and letters all smushed as if I was on 5 settings lower resolution.

I can't find any other posts of someone having this issue, can someone please help? It's really ugly.

That sound like steam overlay is bugged and nothing to do with Satisfactory.
They was another thread about Steam Overlay, and they fixed their problem by setting the game to fullscreen.
They were using Borderless Fullscreen before
Maybe try swapping screen mode.
The FPS counter is in the Steam settings, you can disable it.

Mines tiny - but then my resolution is majority too high for most games (including satisfactory) to even read.

So yeah - prob a steam overlay problem or the OS's current resolution is clashing.

Steam overlay is off, has been this entire time. The FPS counter does not belong to steam, that has also been off this entire time.

Ill try the fullscreen method thanks
full screen and back to windowed borderless fixed the issue, thank you!

This happened to me yesterday. A restart of steam fixed it for me.

I don´t understand why people constantly need an active FPS counter ( Steam overlay or NVidia ) during gaming; starring at it like hypnotized and complain in forums that it drops from 120 to 118. Switch that **** off and play the game. If the game starts stuttering ( you´ll figure it out without a counter ), go and purchase a better graphic card.

God forbid someone wants a diagnostic tool.

You have it wrong.

It's something someone has to intentionally turn on. Knowingly or not.
Try to have the correct perspective. To cal it "constant" is wrong - everyone has different reasons/needs/purposes.

Also low FPS isn't always the GPU - you may want to research that.

I like know what my system is doing at a glance.
It's why I use MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, It just sits in the corner of the screen and I can glance at to see how things are performing... 99% of the time I don't pay it any mind, And I can turn off and on at any time.

how do i revert to an older version of satisfactory
Had this bug the last couple of days but it fixed on its own. If it persist you can at least disable the FPS counter in your Steam settings under the "In Game" tab
how do i revert to an older version of satisfactory
Same issue here, it's weird.

Ok, probably in this connection a wrong interpretation from my side, sorry for this.

But what I mean are those people that stare at FPS rates ALL the time, evaluating a game only by the ups and downs of frames, making themselves crazy with their control paranoia. This has nothing to do with functionality or system surveillance. I do this when I see problems with my system ( that could appear during a game, I agree ).
When you drive a car, you do not constantly check water temperature from the cooling system, oil or tire pressure while driving the car......instead of staring at the traffic you stare at the dashboard.......
