Maybe flaming/trolling the OP is a bad idea considering they didn't ask - they merely posted steps to run it on a Mac.
Not sure why you saw fit to respond as you did.
Most people just complain whine #### up a storm.
Least this one was nice enough to provide a possible solution. Cut im some slack.
On steam there is 2 milion Mac gamers, 80% of therm run apple silicon, more than 50% run 16gb of ram config, this is suitable for satisfactory. 1 milion potential players is noticeable amount.

The following is mostly pulled from my rear end. You must take into account the number of existing Steam users that arent using MacOS that have already bought the game compared to the TOTAL number of Steam users not running MacOS. Thats the percentage you would aim for if ported to MacOS. I bet is still really tiny.
